Coconut the Hamster

Butterscotch died last week from old age while I was away. I got a new hamster not long after I came back home and brought home this little lady. She's a bit skittish and didn't like being handled too much in the store but is now a bit calmer and interested in almost every sound she hears.

I was on the fence of naming her Coconut, Oreo or something else. I ended up sticking with Coconut. I have no idea why I name a lot of things after foods or flavours these days. Either way!
She is a sable banded, syrian hamster.

I also gave her an Instagram account because why not do something I hadn't before? I'll continue to use it for future hamsters as well.
